Implementing a Family-Centered Approach For Families Affected by Substance Use Disorders and Involved with Child Welfare Services Webinar and Dialogue Series
Join the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare for a two-part session on the implementation of a family-centered approach – a comprehensive array of clinical treatment and related support services that meet the needs of each family member, not only of the individual requesting care.

The first session reviews the new resource, Family-Centered Approach Modules, designed for state, county, and agency-level collaborative partners working together to improve systems, services, and outcomes for children and families affected by SUDs. The session will feature:

• An overview of a family-centered treatment approach and its effectiveness
• Practical examples and strategies from practitioners who have successfully implemented a family-centered approach
• Examples of collaborative efforts and policy-level activities needed to implement and sustain a family-centered approach

The second session is a dialogue with expert family-centered practitioners who will share their knowledge and experience implementing a family-centered approach within their agencies. The session offers innovative strategies and implementation considerations, as well as an opportunity to share your ideas and experiences.

Please submit your questions for the dialogue when you register for the session below.
